Worship

Worship is our life blood and our joy. As a group of churches we offer a variety of opportunities to come together in church, and at the moment online during the coronavirus lockdown. Our regular worship is on a Sunday, with All-age services and Communion, Evensong, and Contemporary. The Benefice Ministry team meets once each month to reflect on our worshipping life, and plan together.

At the moment we are offering worship online. Every week we have a Sunday 10am zoom service with music, readings, a talk and activities. In addition, our children's groups meet online by zoom, Infants and Juniors on Sunday after the main service. When we are in church, the pattern of worship is normally as follows:

8.30am. Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion, (said service) each week in a different church.
10.00am. Main Service in Hook, All-age on the 1st Sunday, Communion on the other Sundays. With music.
10.30am. Main Service in HMR. All-age on the 2nd Sunday in Rotherwick. Moving around the HMR churches each week. With Communion and hymns.
6.00pm. Communion in Hook, since July 2020. Short said service with music.
6.30pm. Evensong in HMR on 2nd and 4th Sundays. With hymns.
7.00pm. Contemporary in Hook on 3rd Sundays. With contemporary music.

We offer many opportunities for our community with Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. Please see the links on the left-hand side for details.

In addition, we offer worship for Children and Families.
