At St John's we have a Junior Church which meets on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month from 10am. We meet together to learn more about Jesus with Bible stories, crafts, music, prayers and discussion. Usually everyone starts together in church and the Junior Church fun starts after the first hymn when we leave the parents/carers in church to go to our own groups (one for up to school year 4, another for years 5-8).
We don't meet as a Junior Church on the 1st Sunday of each month because the service in church that day has something for all ages, with our music group leading the singing, activities and even crafts. It's a great service for children, but there's plenty for the adults too.
