We are holding a Christingle at St John's on 3rd of December and at Rotherwick Church on 10th December. Both are in the slot for all age/family worship.
Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope. Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top - come along to one of the Christingles and you can find out about the Christingle, what it means and take one home.
Christingle is a lot of fun, but it is also raising money and awareness for The Children's Society - you can read more here.
If you would like to donate to the work of the Children's Society, this is the QR Code from St John's Christingle:
